France is an ally of ours. They don't hate the US at all. The US supports Israel. The French surrendered to the Germans so fast, even DeGaulle was disgusted. The French turned over it's jews with almost unseemly haste. The US saved the French Republic twice from it's rightful place in the German Empire, and the French will never forgive the US for it. Americans are rude, uncultured boors according to the French. Ask a Frenchman, he will tell you. But Israel was part of the English mandate, Lebanon was part of the French mandate, France is there for it's colonies. The good thing about this is France has a huge Muslim Population. There is a reason that France offered to help out in this situation, it is not the generosity of the French. It is simple enlightened self interest. France helping out French people. Have you ever been to Europe? I think you and I should stop conversing. I tend to think people do the best they can. Bush might be wrong, even I was wrong once or twice, but frankly your hatred makes me slightly uneasy. Logic tells me you have a problem, perhaps you should seek some help.
