So true Jeff. I am short at 9 1/2. After the initial drop down to 8 7/8 area, it had a horrendous time trying to get back above 9. For the rest of the day, there were small trades, my guess short covering from 9+ that was keeping the ask up.

This baby has seen her high. And I'm looking forward to it touching sub 8 by Friday.

Just read the latest press release, and the profits from this new stem cell technology won't be coming in till late '98 in Europe, and year 2000 for US. That's a long way off to hold shares of this baby at $9. Hehe... Also, the CEO of ASTM stated that he "couldn't understand the recent run-up in volume and price...still trying to figure it out." Once investors read that, they'll decide that she's not worth $8+ just yet and will start to take their profits.

I was also VERY suspicious about JP Morgan's lack of direction on this stock. Normally, and I mean 99% of the time, a brokerage is going to sell shares of an upcoming upgrade to their clients before the upgrade is announced. We didn't see this AT ALL. I tend to agree that they wanted to get out of this baby, and they did just that.

Hope for the worst tomarrow and Friday! Good luck all!

Peter
