I watched Halperin on Charlie Rose tonight. Geez loueeze, the dems can do absolutely nothing right while the Republicans are brilliant, smart as whips and invincible.

It's amazing how inane this kind of talk is in the face of Bush's poll numbers and the insanity of Iraq. It's the same old, same old rhetoric: dems are too left and are too radical because they want things like balanced budgets, peace, good relationships with other countries, a good economy, plenty of jobs and healthcare for all.

Apparently in our universe these are indeed frighteningly radical desires.
