MTG: Surprised there hasn't been more talk about the huge technical failure on MGIC over the past three weeks I'm shorting Triad Guarantee (TGIC) it's a smaller mortgage insurance company that has put on a lot of business lately according to Grant's. Lost a bit of money on MTG 2005 and 2006 LEAP puts - was way too early. Yeah, it's odd how the thread is mainly interested in home builder stocks, and maybe lenders. Tried to get some talk going on this new spinoff Realogy (H) but no bites. Cendant just spun off Coldwell Banker and Century 21 into a separate company - it's a residential real estate broker pure play. Seems like incredibly weird timing to do this spin off now.
