Interesting news day. Bomb plot foiled in the UK, Israel delays the offensive they were planning, another Shiite shrine bombing sends the body count up some more in Iraq, and a giant typhoon slams China.

I wonder if there was any unusual action in the puts on the airlines, or in the reinsurers. I remember reading about unusual action related to 9/11- but it never seemed to be followed up (in the news. Who can know what this government might, or might not, have done).
