Hezbollah is Israel's problem, not ours. Don't confuse the two. The US is not Israel and doesn't want to be Israel. We give them arms and money, that is enough.

Hezbollah only surfaced with attacks this year because Iran became both emboldened and more paranoid because of Bush's enormous blundering in Iraq, as well as his "Axis Of Evil" speech, which he gave just as Iran was starting to moderate and move toward us. After 9-11, there was a huge amount of support for the US in Iran. But no more. Therefore, in effect, Bush's policies are to blame for the current trouble in Lebanon, even though we are not direct enemies with Hezbollah. I think the last time Hezbollah attacked the US was when Reagan was in Beirut. On their turf. The day Hezbollah attacks the US outside their own turf let me know. Then I will support US attacks on Hexbollah. But remember the real problem is Bush poking sticks in the eye of Iran and destabilizing Iraq.
