Is it really that far-fetched of an idea to consider that INTC might want to buy QCOM at these depressed prices? Granted, INTC is depressed as well, but is still twice the market cap of the Q. INTC needs an avenue for growth, which it doesn't have via computer microprocessors, but it would have via cellphone aisc's. Intel has the world's most state of the art fabs, and QCOM is the largest "fabless" semi mfr. There's gotta be some synergies here, whether QCOM and shareholders want to admit it or not. Does anyone think that this is even a remote contemplation of INTC or QCOM ???
