I have a question. What does everyone think would happen to the shorts if say a buyout of HSOA came along. I am not speculating here or even think one is coming.

But if the PPS does prove to be under valued after earnings/CC, then maybe someone might just see a diamond in the rough.

If the buyout offer came, would the shorts have to cover all of the shorted shares before they could go long and benefit from the buyout??? Would they just be happy with the profits they already have and never have to cover? Then what about paying back the shorted shares so the actual owner could tender them. Wouldn't the shorts have buy back those borrowed shares to pay them back.

Any thoughts on this? Kinda make my brain hurt to think through this.
