Kevin, re: k6+ on 0.35 um unlikely. I agree with this analysis. What I wonder is whether the 0.25 die size reported in the 2q conference call (68 mm sq) was a K6 or a K6+. By the same reasoning, its doesn't make sense to lay out a K6 in 0.25 um, if you're going to go to the K6+.

If its a K6+, the 68 mm sq die size is simply amazing.

It could be that the 68 mm sq chip is a "plain" K6 for laptop applications.
