Killing innocent people is exactly Israels style. Israel engages in what is called "collective punishment". By killing innocent Lebanese Israel is sending a clear message to the whole country. Those civilians killed are not people standing to close to a fighter. These are people whose crime is to live in Lebanon. It is a crime to live in Lebanon because Hizbollah is welcome in Lebanon, now more than ever. For Israel, all of Lebanon is guilty of giving support to Hizbollah. The answer is collective punishment with an intentionally disproportionate response.

It works like this: Hizobollah kills an innocent Israeli citizen, fine, we will kill ten innocent Lebanese. Now we are even. Want to play some more? Next time we will make it twenty to one, or one hundred to one, or one thousand to one. By the way, lest we forget, we are not talking about killing fighters -- we are talking about killing innocent civilians. Hizbollah does it. Israel does it. Only Israel does it on a much larger scale, and they do it with American money and American bombs.
