Ha ha...deluded citizen, huh? I suppose you may be right. The yellow metal may be a pain in the ass but it has a history of well over 400 years. Our money goes no farther back than the Bank of England experiment of 1694, and it has often not faired well, e.g., just 2 years later in 1696. You could read about it on wikipedia.org
I have been a Life Member of the NRA for 30 years. Want to guess what kind of ordnance such a deluded citizen might have? Never mind, I would not tell anyone anyway.
Reference to a commodity based currency presupposes agreement to follow some established rules other than those of the street, of course, and they guy on the ground is certainly not able to carry on a reasonable discourse and exchange of disagreements with the guy in the turret of the tank. Now, for grins, tell us all just how comfortable you will be with the new RFID law to go into effect in May 2008, and that you can thank both flavors of demopublicans. Not much different from the guy in the tank really, from the way I see it. Do you feel more secure thinking about that prospect or not? Something just learned by this old fart via recent interchanges with Mish, we here may agree in principle but fervor and hot blood obscures our vision. We should be mindful not to jump to conclusions. It is true, alas it is so true, these are times that try men's souls. I also try to remember that the piper must be paid.
