Even if it is they get plenty of that from attacks against Hezbollah. They wouldn't need to specifically target civilians just be somewhat less careful in their attacks against actual military targets and the death toll could be much higher than 1000, while at the same time they would probably take out more Hezbollah fighters.

Your argument is basically that Israel and Israelis are evil, so I should believe any nasty accusation made against them. I don't accept that argument but even if I did it would be insufficient in this case. You'd have to show how they where both totally evil and irrational. If you start with both of those ideas as your assumptions I doubt that there is much hope of any conversation with you going anywhere.
