I think Ford has a great shot in Tennessee. The first meaningful polls will be next month - so far all the money has been spent on the GOP primary. Ford didn't have to spend any money to win. Tennessee might be moving in the correct direction. Frist (R) won in 2000 with 65% of the vote, but Senator Lamar (R) only received 54% of the vote in '02. And they elected a Democrat Governor in '02. We will see ...
