There's no other way to honestly construe your statement.

Of course there is, since I can assure you I in way wrote it with that intent.
I wasn;t excluding supporters of Bush as not acting in good conscience in any way. It was saying that people of conscience could also see it in a different way.
The mistake it seems to me is in turning the Iraq war into a 'for us or against us' issue at home, when people of conscience just didn't agree that it was the wisest option at the time.
Your willingness to see it as an exclusionary insult speaks only to your own bias.
