There are good points on both sides of this topic, one of the
central questions to be answered concerning many of our jrs.

People that visit frequently or are associated with China are
often the most positive; Roulston, Monty Guild (Sinclair),
etc. They claim that the BRIC ecomomies will replicate what
the US etc went through in its modernization, unstoppable demand.

Others take the conventional view that has applied since that
time, of supply alternately overwhelming a retreating demand.

J.Kaiser said last yr that the 'cyclical bears vs structural
bulls' debate would be decided in 6 months or so, then delayed
the timing. But still favors the bulls.

I have bet on PM's, especially silver, AND base metals zn,cu,
and specialty metal molybdenum.

If a US recession does hurt base metals I will just wait it
out as I don't jump in and out of these things. Gonna be a very
interesting 6-12 months.
