sounds like the North of ireland were responsible for supporting IRA because they did nothing? Fear goes a long way in making people keep quiet and not show resistance. I expect many Muslims fear for family retribution if they speak out.

our society doesn't protect those who speak out until an action or crime has been committed. Then its too late to help those who wish to help.
