Folks in the English speaking world are being targeted. Time for an alliance which would include US, UK, India, Australia, and a few non-English nations who are also being targeted. Israel and Turkey in the Mideast, maybe some others.
Unlike other terror plots this last one seems real--10 planes/3000+ deaths. The fact that it didnt succeed means little to me. Just as on 9/11 this latest attack must be responded to with force. US needs to reevaluate its strategic priorities. No more time to chase the false hope in democracy in the Middle East. Responsible folks on the left were right--we need to concentrate in South Asia and after this plot we need to ignore the international border that protects al quaeda in Pakistan. Although mistakes have been made, the war must still be won and the Bush admin has two years to get us back on the right track. I dont expect much from them however.
