The damage to WTC-7 was apparently much greater than photos of the far-side indicate.

"The most important thing we found was that there was, in fact, physical damage to the south face of building 7," NIST's Sunder tells PM. "On about a third of the face to the center and to the bottom--approximately 10 stories--about 25 percent of the depth of the building was scooped out."

The reason there is a focus on WTC-7 is because a lot of sensitive government offices were located in that building.

This is a logical fallacy normally called "Red Herring". While government offices may speak to motives, and I think everyone agrees the events were intentional, it says nothing about how the building collapsed.

Strange that it was the only one to collapse later that day.
Buildings such as WTC-5 and WTC-6 were extensively destroyed, but they were a lot shorter and so did not have to carry the weight of all those upper floors.

Even the owner of WTC-7 is on video tape saying a decision was made to "pull" the building, demolition industry lingo for controlled demolition
That too is another issue, but if he was making the decision after collapse of WTC, then it would imply that the demolition was NOT already scheduled and part of the plot.
