FYI..in Barron's this AM:

Just so you know, UBS’s hardware analyst Benjamin Reitzes has a note out saying that he’s spoken with Apple Computer (AAPL) about the company’s notice to the Securities & Exchange Commission this morning that it will delay its third quarter financial report. Reitzes says news reports that Apple may report different results for the June quarter than it did in its press release on July 19 are inaccurate:
Apple just stated there will be changes in results for 3Q06 vs. 3Q05, incl. significant increases in revenue & expenses. We just spoke to Apple about this confusing statement, which was an answer to a y/y comparison question required by the SEC - this comment refers to 3Q06 vs. 3Q05, not the 3Q06 results just reported. We do not believe this means there will be changes to revenues just reported.
Nonetheless, Reitzes, who thinks Apple’s shares could rise to $80 in the next 12 months, says the stock could be in for a bumpy ride:
