I LIKE the idea of an America where everyone starts out from approximately the same position, and whatever they acheive is gained through their own efforts, not the wealth of their parents. In my mind, the estate tax is a VERY good thing. Smart rich people ensure this now, so as not to deny their children the joy of getting it on their own.

Do we really NEED a generation of Paris Hiltons? Are we better for them?
