I helped start the cpq plant in Scotland.
It's been there since 1987. all the cpq plants use the same systems and they are linked together world-wide.
a ww mrp/crp run can be regen-ed in about 25 seconds.
the satelite areas are all SAP. the main plants are on HP3000's.
Soon everything is SAP.
a plant in europe means nothing. you don't go to europe for efficency.
You go there bec. the EEC tells you that if you want to sell in europe you will manufacture in europe. I think the european distribution center for cpq is in the netherlands.
