FHM,
thank you for this posting - I read it with great interest.

In a similar matter, according to the website referred to previously (that Asensio "conned" site) I learnt that one individual - "Tony Elgindy", according to the published material resorting to a toxic and illegal shorting and extortioning campaign against companies shorted - is now already behind bars.. Good to see that these figures don't have a free ride with their machinations.

Frankly, I this smear campaign against HSOA somehow bears resemblance to cases of anchormen becoming "the news" themselves. Just the direct financial damage done is bigger.

I also want to make it clear that no company should obtain a "blanc cheque" either. For example, shorters shouldn't be blamed for their understandable shorting when a company makes stupid moves such as issuing toxic (=floorless) convertibles (a subject I have some experience in after getting hit big time in a thankfully peripheral position almost 10 years ago) but management is (the CFO primarily). And it is perfeclty ok to exploit such idioticy by shorting the associated common stock. But this is an entirely different matter of course.
