I think he's right. By holding off on sending in ground troops to limit Israeli casualties Olmert basically duplicated our mistakes in Iraq by not sending in enough ground troops in the beginning and blanketing the country. This war has proved again that war is a tragic mess, and one cannot fight it and hope to win with air power alone and with high technology. Its always "boots-on-the-ground" that wins wars. Anyone remember D-Day?!
