<<I mean put Money in banks and Chinese bonds?>>
... FYI, US equity players are choking on Chinese bank equity, and Chinese bonds are wholly domestically financed, unlike the USA, who prefers borrowing from strategic competitors.
<<Ask yourself why the Chinese aren't investing that money into their own banks and investment? Why are they buying US Treasuries?>>
... perhaps for the same reasons the USA invested in British debt paper back in the days of industrial revolution, which then got recycled back as British equity investment back in Americas?
When you spoke of Investment, I was figuring infrastructure, factories, or, gad, even shopping malls and residences, although I suspected you might be talking about T-bills, but thought more sensibly.
