Symmetricom, Inc. introduced a new military
oven controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO),
dubbed the 9250, that combines low g sensitivity
in a small, low-profile package. The company
was chosen to supply its master reference
oscillator for the Mobile User Objective System
(MUOS) satellite being developed by
Lockheed Martin for a U.S. Navy customer.
MUOS is a communications system for U.S.
forces on the move.
