Did you know that British and European legal systems allow "far more intrusive surveillance and detention policies than the Bush Administration has ever contemplated"?

I doubt that very much.

That WSJ oped, while frothing madly at the straw man librul who refuses to recognize that we're at war with a fascist enemy who is worse than Hitler, Pol Pot and Mel Gibson rolled into one, has once more made the false binary argument that anyone who wants surveillance performed legally and with congressional oversight is nothing more than a terrorist him/her self.

I have long advocated more and better intelligence and police work in thwarting terror plots, so I am gratified to see Scotland Yard bag this one.
