I've read in many places that gold as an asset class and bonds as an asset class are inversely correlated.
That being said, the Bond King himself, Bill Gross of PIMCO, declared on July 7, 2006, that we are at a
turning point and another bull market in bonds is about to appear. If he is right, and if the inverse
correlation still holds between bonds and gold, maybe the price appreciation that gold has enjoyed
over the past three years, during the bond bear market, is near an end.
