Perhaps geese should not be so conformist and let the young be self-determining. What is all this stuff about flying south, north, all this migratory hooey? And why fly with the flock? I know geese that feed all winter in quite gold surroundings and they are very happy. They have got off the flyway treadmill and are vacationing in Canada. More power to them. EC<:-}
