I read the Stratfor reports, helpful. Problem for US/Israel is that there is no good defense against rockets. And longer and longer range ones can be obtained for guerilla groups to use against large fixed targets/cities. Can't bring official pressure as these groups are not countries, have low profile. They can be unofficially supplied by such as Iran. And there is nothing the US can do about that, no stomach or ability to fight any but the smallest opposition. And hard to use military force as the expensive tank/heli can be taken out with cheap mobile shoulder weapons. As Russia found out with its huge 1M man army and offense weaponry in Afganistan. The people of israel are in an untenable position, despite any temporary ceasefire deals. What family can withstand what they face. I expect many to come to NY and S.Fla where they have relatives and large representation.
