US and many other places would take them. They have
veto power over the US congress, and an open treasury.

Use of their weapon would probably destroy much of their
own country. And the inevitable possession by their opponents
would finish it eventually. They are an intelligent people
and are not as willing to die as the opposition. Untenable position IMO.

As your daughters realize, there is no acceptable solution
to both sides, and there never has been despite decades of
talk of a 'peace process'.

This has progressed from children throwing rocks, to hardened
fighters taking out the best tanks and helicopters in the world.
Look at the progression and extrapolate it.
