Someone, I don't remember who, posted some survey figures which concern me. They dealt with denial that 9/11 was done by Muslims, sympathy for terrorists, etc., all of which suggest that the task of defusing the terrorist threat will be a daunting one.

Perhaps the article is correct--the apparent American success in getting our Muslims to not in the main support terrorism is a result of our intolerance for hate and prejudice. Unfortunately, UK-style tolerance and mollycoddling may have backfired.
