Islam is a sanctuary for misfits. It is nothing more than the instrument by which misfits find a twisted moral justification for their hostility and deadly behavior. It attracts the least successful members of the human race. The more successful societies of the world, including particularly our own, threaten the sense of competence of this failed "religion" and Islam gives them moral permission to lash out at them. Islam's philosophy is 180 degrees from our own. Here are the five major branches of our philosophy compared/contrasted with our own: Our ethics = life; theirs = spread of Islam. Our epistemology = reason; theirs = revelation. Our metaphysics = existence follows natural law, is predictable and intellectualy graspable; theirs = existence is incomprehensible and unpredictable, because it depends entirely on the whim of the micromanagerial Allah. Our esthetics = portrayal of values, including human life; their esthetics = prohibition against portrayal of values, especially human life. Our politics = respect for individual rights; theirs = barbarous totalitarianism. Muslims' failure to advance is due entirely to the fact that their minds are shackled - sucked dry - from birth by a philosophy which abhores reality, including the reality of human nature, and thus prevents them from dealing with it effectively. The acquisition of knowledge has, in effect, been ruled out as "immoral;" Even statements such as "medicine will one day conquer disease" is considered "unislamic" because the conquest of disease cannot possibly be a product of the human mind, but only of Allah's will. Islamism survives only as a parasite at the tit of the better philosophies around them. Withdraw our support, and it will wither away because of its own incompetence to survive. Islam promises the world and delivers nothing.
