You think the US doesn't cheat on our treaties when we can get away with it? It's built into the system and the diplomats know it. You are the one that is naive. "Trust but verify", I think that's from RR. Note that I'm quoting a Republican, not trashing him as you seem prone to do to Democrats at every opportunity.
