WSJ had an article today said now more and more companies subscribing Stock watch services that provide info. on daily basis by email, to see who is buying and who is selling their stocks, mostly monitoring hedge fund action. And in case of hedge fund holding representing an emerging threat, then companies can prepared for potential hostile actions.

I guess only big cash rich companies can afford to do this. Small companies that shorts love can hardly afford to do anything
