Post 1967 israeli military faces some of the same pitfalls post WW2 US faced with guerilla wars. We couldnt pacify vietnam back then or Iraq todayn not to mention somlia or lebanon. They cant pacify either palesine and lebanon thru the use of conventional warfare either. Lessons learned in 67 and 73 are largely meaningless today.
You are right Sarman. Assymetric guerilla war will get nothing for isreali and arab peoples.
A Sadat moment may be necessary today and this time Sadat may have to be an Israeli. With sharon dying faster than castro, and Olmert still the lightweight, i cant imagine who that israeli could be?
