Of course he's "beaming". He's "beaming" because he's now got a very good shot at becoming Prime Minister shortly. You think he's going to accentuate the positive about Olmert's performance? Think again.

Don't hold your breath for that move. But in addition, three members of the Knesset were tossed out for being critical of Olmert. You can blow that one off if you like. Check into the recent polls of the Israeli's opinion on how successful Israel was. You're seeing numbers close to 60% that assess Israel's accomplishment of goals from nothing to minimal.

While Olmert is being blasted from both ends of the spectrum in Israel, along with a lot of doubt of accomplishment from the Israeli population, the Lebanese refugees are riding back home waving Hezbollah flags.

If Olmert wants to go into Lebanon a second time, there's going to be a lot of Israelis that are going to question his sanity and/or competence.

Now the question is: Has Hezbollah gained enough support in the country to take real power over the whole country?
