Cage Ratter,
>>rely upon higher life forms for their development<< I don't know how scientist would view this, but to me, that sounds more like a boost along the way, than a truly symbiotic relation. For instance, the ancient Chinese people used selective breeding to produce the pekinese dogs. I call that meddling instead of symbiotic.
I am well aware that evolution cannot be proven, beyond a doubt, and took what was said about religion being untouchable, and meaning that it was considered to be fact. I agree that it cannot be proved, or disproved, because it is based on the faith of human beings.
For the record, I do believe that there is an entity that is all powerful and caused the big bang to happen. Some power had to bring the elements together, and provide the ignition, that caused it all to happen. I prefer to call that entity God. There had to be something about Jesus who had the power to form the most populated religion on the face of the earth. I once thought that it might be another religion, but the encyclopediases (I know I misspelled that) have done the count, and Christianity is the most.
I may check out that book, but it is harder to read these days with only one eye, and I can't sit around long enough to read many books. I'll wait for the movie to come out. {8^) |
