There is good reason to believe that most of the medium and long range missile launchers, which are bigger and therefore easier to spot, are out of commission.


I'm not so sure I'd say most. I remember that the US had a hard time taking out the Scuds in the Gulf war.

Perhaps a large percentage of the launches that were used, but "a large percentage" doesn't have to be "most", and "that where used" doesn't have to be "all".
