Well, there's a larger percentage blond Jews than Arabs.... Not an expert, but about 4 major Jewish groups (lots of spelling errors here) Sephardic Ashkenazi (Poland, Germany etc.) Russian, including Kazaks and another I can't remember also some very small groups of Ethiopian Jews. No idea how this lines up with 12 tribes. A lot more diversity than say a group of Iraqis, even if you include Kurds. I saw a recent documentary about the Israeli raid on the Saddam's reactors. There were a few pilots who might have passed for Arabs, but the majority look like average Europeans. Probably not a clean random sample, however. I will guess that when many Jews look at Arabs, they don't see people who look like their second cousin - they see the OTHER. Add in a huge cultural, economic, and education gap. ******* Besides, much of the history of civil wars shows that familial relations are only a speed bump on the road to slaughter.
