When I was a sales manager at a car dealership some years back it was not at all uncommon for young Hmong to come in and plunk down 15K in cash for a car. They never borrowed. I'm thinking these immigrants don't live at a level of 150% above their income level like us locals do and they save money and pay cash for things. We could likely learn a lesson or two from them:)
