Any legal system faces the same issue -- but you cannot have democracy or promote democracy internationally without coming to terms with the need to have means of dealing with international criminal behavior. Israel DOES commit war crimes. So does the US. By refusing to enter into any judicial process that will call those responsible to account, you are supporting and accepting criminal behavior.
