Polka dots in either landscaping or in hanging pictures, mean "a one, a one, a one, here, there and everywhere..."
Flowers look better in a group of the same color, or sometimes in flowers like pansies, in a grouping together, even if they are all the same color. But in a group all the same color, then in another group of the same color, etc they make a much better color splash.
Hubby eith his engineering background liked them in a line, and various colors...Took quite a few years for me to undo that notion, but I finally made him think it was his idea, so he "gets" it now....Ditto with pictures on the wall.
Unless of course, they really are large statement pieces. Then it just becomes a matter of where to hang them where they look the best. |
