He is a brilliant economist; I don't think there's much question about that-- well, actually, there are some articles on line arguing that, but anyway- Where he lost me was when he started losing his objectivity and honesty in dealing with Bush and his policies. I remember reading several stories about how he twisted facts against Bush and misled. (and really, he didn't need to do that!) I haven't really read him since he went behind the Wall so have no idea what he is sounding like now.
