I can infer any number of things about prominent Democrats based on patchy information about their backgrounds or conduct. But I would consider tarring them with that brush on a key issue a gratuitous partisan slap at best. It only distracts from putting real policies and statements under an objective microscope for evaluation. Saying that Bush never says enough to be sure he is a fundamentalist whacko nut, but he probably is anyway..... D+ at best.
