I can name 15-20 people on SI who have some strong opinions about me that I consider total nonsense, and you would too. But they voice them publicly - does sheer repetition make it a fact?

Saying I dismiss the importance of the issue is disingenuous. Insisting on backing up a serious claim with serious proof is an indication I take it very seriously.

I just won't accept it by emotional inference in the absence of more objective fact. Prove to me it is a basis for Bush's ME policy and I will be very interested. But not just "Some writers said....."
