The articles you bring to the table are Truthout, The Nation, and a roster of partisan media. When this thread first started, someone quizzed me on how partisan I saw various media outlets.

The sources you cite are seriously predisposed to believe the worst about Bush's actual beliefs. Until I hear something more tangible from a centrist source, it is just politically inspired conjecture. None of those qualify.

If you listened to Fox all day you would think that all liberals want to end religion in American life, period. Would that pass the smell test?

FWIW, most politicians address prayer breakfasts. It's part of the whole schtick. I think Bush is probably deeper into that, but basing ME policy on the End of Days is a whole other issue.
