The failure of gold to rally today despite a big drop in the dollar is unequivocally bearish and far more important than fickle sentiment indicators IMHO. Do beware of "excess" short action on the COMEX - ever since Aug 3 or so, the relative gaps between spot and cash are much higher than normal. Much more than "normal" selling pressure...
