Well, it is a problem, isn't it? As we discussed earlier, Americans and Brits can't tell a Muslim from a Hindu from a Sikh from a Parsi just by looking at them.

Truth be told, most of them wouldn't even understand the significance of the differences if you explained it to them.

But if we can't profile people on the basis of skin tone and hair color and hair texture and bone structure -- can we profile them at all?
