I find it unlikely that it would be a JTS drive though.
JTS Nordic drives exist the following capacities: 1.08, 1.44, 1.62, 2.16

Considering that Compaq has many other models which specify 2.1 or 2.16 G drives, why would they specify 2.0 G for this new model if it had JTS inside? Possibly they might just be taking the lowest common denominator of the different drives they might use, but I assume they have done that for all models. If they are using JTS drives, it is much more likely that it is in one of their other notebooks.
