International Game Technology (IGT), which Cramer owns for his charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS, is the best gaming stock out there, he said.

As new casinos in Southeast Asia are constructed, and some states in the U.S. favor adding slots to bowling alleys and truck stops, International Game Technology should get most of this business, as it dominates the slot-machine business, Cramer said.

In the U.S., the state receives half the profits from casinos, and because Americans are never in favor of raising taxes, adding casinos seems like a good alternative. In addition, in Southeast Asia, people are getting wealthier and gambling more, Cramer said.

Both of these trends put International Game Technology in a position to make a lot of money off U.S. and Asian casino construction, he said.

The third trend in favor of IGT is the slot-machine replacement cycle, but this won't kick in until 2008, Cramer said.
